Ram Lodge is an exclusive private horse ranch on Iceland's legendary Snæfellsnes Peninsula, sitting directly in the path of totality for the August 12, 2026 total solar eclipse. Set on hundreds of hectares of private land with completely unobstructed views across sea, mountain and glacier, the lodge offers a level of privacy and exclusivity that no public viewing location can match. While most accessible eclipse sites across Iceland are expected to be extremely crowded, guests at Ram Lodge will experience totality in a fully private, protected and serene setting, including exclusive access to a private beach closed to all outside visitors during the stay.
The lodge accommodates up to 14 guests across eight beautifully styled en-suite bedrooms, each with windows framing sweeping Icelandic landscapes. Wellness facilities include a hot tub, sauna and shared lounges, alongside a terrace and complimentary WiFi throughout. A personal chef provides all meals daily, and a fully staffed 8-day curated programme of extraordinary Icelandic experiences is woven around the centrepiece eclipse event.
