Finnish Lapland is one of the most requested winter destinations among our clients, and the right trip depends on who is travelling and what they want from the Arctic. We have built three private itineraries, each with private transfers, a full set of winter clothing, half board and the activities listed below.

Levi: a ski-in villa for families and friends

Six days, five nights at Snowbird Villa, a three-bedroom villa built in 2024 directly beside the Gondola 2000 lift. It has its own sauna, a fireplace and an outdoor jacuzzi, with breakfast boxes each morning and dinner served by a host. The days include a reindeer farm, a private Northern Lights hunt with a photographer, a snowmobile safari, private ice fishing, a hike to Särkifell in Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park and a husky safari.

Our sample price is €22,250 for five adults, excluding flights. See the Levi itinerary.

Rovaniemi: a short escape on the Arctic Circle

Four days, three nights at Invisible Forest Lodge, just outside Rovaniemi. Each suite has a wall-to-wall forest-view window, a private sauna and a jacuzzi. Dinner is different every night: five courses at the lodge, a hot rock dinner, and a private dinner in a heated glass igloo. You also get a private reindeer farm visit, a Northern Lights hunt, a snowmobile safari and a visit to Santa Claus Village.

Our sample price is €13,819 for three adults, excluding flights. See the Rovaniemi itinerary.

Rovaniemi and Saariselkä: the fullest week

Seven days split between Aino Private Island, an adults-only retreat on the Kemijoki river, and the glass-ceiling igloos of Aurora Queen Resort in Saariselkä, further north, where skies are often clearer. The week includes a reindeer farm with lunch in a Kota hut, a private husky safari, two Northern Lights hunts, snowmobiling, snowshoeing and a private Finnish sauna.

Our sample price is €33,199 for three adults, excluding flights. See the full itinerary.

Which one is right for you?

  • For a family or group of friends who want space and skiing, choose Levi
  • For a long weekend with a different dinner every night, choose Rovaniemi
  • For a once-in-a-lifetime week built around the Northern Lights, choose Rovaniemi and Saariselkä

All three can be adapted: longer stays, different dates, larger groups or private aviation from your home airport.

Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to see the Northern Lights in Lapland?

The aurora season in Finnish Lapland runs roughly from late August to early April, with the darkest skies from November to February. Clear nights matter more than the month, which is why our itineraries include guided hunts.

Do the prices include flights?

No. All three sample prices exclude flights. We can arrange scheduled or private flights to Kittilä, Rovaniemi or Ivalo.

Is winter clothing included?

Yes. Each itinerary includes a thermal suit, waterproof boots and insulated gloves for every guest.

Can the itineraries be changed?

Yes. Dates, length, group size, accommodation and activities can all be tailored.
