Maido was named No. 1 on The World's 50 Best Restaurants 2025 list. Chef Mitsuharu Tsumura cooks Nikkei cuisine, the Japanese-Peruvian tradition that grew out of more than a century of Japanese migration to Peru.
His tasting menu draws on Peru's coast, Andes and Amazon. Lima has become one of the great food capitals of the world, and Maido is the first booking many clients want to secure when they plan a trip there.
