Hisarönü Gulf cabin cruise from Bodrum

A week-long cabin cruise from Bodrum around the Datça Peninsula and the Gulf of Hisarönü, aboard an elegant modern motor sailer. Book a cabin rather than the whole yacht, with full board, swim stops every day and a crew to look after you.

The yachts

The cruise sails on Elara 1 or Freedom, depending on the week.

• Elara 1: 42 m motor sailer, built 2010 and refitted 2019, 12 air-conditioned cabins (6 double, 6 twin) with private showers, captain and 7 crew, jacuzzi, paddle board, canoe, water skis and snorkelling gear
• Freedom: 30 m classic gulet, built 2012 and refitted 2017 and 2023, 6 air-conditioned cabins with en-suite bathrooms, flybridge jacuzzi and bar

Itinerary

• Day 1, Bodrum: Board from 15:30, see St Peter's Castle, then sail to the first bay for a swim and dinner.
• Day 2, Palamutbükü: Clear water, pristine beaches and fresh seafood on the waterfront.
• Day 3, Aktur and Bencik Bay: Aktur at the narrowest point of the Datça Peninsula, then pine-framed Bencik.
• Day 4, Emel Sayın, Orhaniye and Selimiye: Turquoise bays, the Kızkumu sandbar and a stone village with waterfront dining.
• Day 5, Bozburun and Dirsekbükü: The home of traditional gulet building, then a sheltered bay known for its sunsets.
• Day 6, Datça and Knidos: Whitewashed Datça, then ancient Knidos and the Temple of Aphrodite.
• Day 7, Kara and Orak Island: Hot springs, then the turquoise water of Orak Island.
• Day 8, Bodrum: Disembark after breakfast, by 10:00.

The captain may adjust the route for weather and safety.

• 26 June to 27 August: €1,600
• 28 August to 2 October: €1,500

Single cabin +80%. Master cabin +€250, if available. Third bed −30%. Harbour fee €150 per person. Wi-Fi €25 per person.
