Wines of Greece 2027: a hosted wine cruise from Nemea to Santorini

Greece has some of the oldest wine regions in Europe and some of its most exciting winemakers. This hosted cruise follows them from the noble reds of Nemea to the volcanic whites of Santorini, with dinner each evening paired to the region you are sailing through.

Your host

The itinerary was created by wine expert Tim Clarke, who joins the cruise as host. Estate visits take in Gaia and Semeli in Nemea, Tsimbidi in Monemvasia, Sigalas on Santorini, Vakakis on Samos, Tranampelos on Naxos and Ousyra on Syros.

The route

You board at Marina Zeas in Athens and sail for Poros with a welcome dinner. Day two combines a guided visit to Mycenae with tastings at Gaia and Semeli, followed by lunch at Semeli paired with its finest wines. Monemvasia, once one of Europe's great Malvasia wine ports, comes next, then Santorini, with a barbecue lunch on deck and an afternoon at Sigalas.

On Samos you visit Vakakis and lunch in Platanos. Naxos brings Tranampelos, a family estate, before an included taverna dinner on Syros. The last full day starts with a walking tour of Syros and a final tasting at Ousyra, ending with a farewell dinner as you sail back to Athens.

The yacht

M/S Panorama is a 54-metre motor sailer with 24 outside cabins for up to 49 guests. She has crossed the Atlantic several times, and a swimming platform at the stern makes swim stops easy.

There is one departure in 2027, on Friday 20 August. Cabin prices are available on request, so tell us your preferred category and we will confirm. Breakfast is served daily, with 12 paired meals across the week. See the Wines of Greece listing for the full outline.
