This eight-day voyage links the Cyclades, the Dodecanese and the Turkish coast. It suits travellers who want real substance ashore, with two major archaeological visits included, without giving up long lunches and swims.
The route
You board M/S Panorama in Lavrion near Athens and sail to Kea for a welcome dinner. Day two brings an included guided visit to Delos, birthplace of Apollo, followed by an evening in Mykonos. On Samos you overnight in Pythagorion, with an optional visit to the Heraion and the Monastery of Panagia Spiliani.
From Kusadasi, an included excursion leads to Ephesus, with its marble streets, the Library of Celsus and the great theatre. Patmos follows, with optional visits to the Grotto of the Apocalypse and the Monastery of Saint John. You overnight on Naxos and end on Sifnos, known for its villages and cooking, before a farewell dinner on the way back to Lavrion.
The ship
M/S Panorama is a 54-metre motor sailer with 24 outside cabins over three decks for up to 49 guests, renovated in 2021. Board is half board.
Prices and dates for 2027
