Rovaniemi: forest lodge and Northern Lights

Rovaniemi is the official hometown of Santa Claus and the gateway to the Arctic Circle. This escape is based at Invisible Forest Lodge, a quiet, design-led base in the forest just outside the city.

Each 40 m² suite has a wall-to-wall forest-view window, underfloor heating, a private sauna and a jacuzzi, with a private outdoor hot tub. The lodge’s forest spa has a panoramic Wave sauna and an outdoor lagoon, where the Northern Lights are sometimes visible from the water.

Every evening brings a different dinner: five courses at the lodge, a hot rock dinner, and a private three-course dinner in a heated glass igloo.
